Underground Books is an owner-operated shop for readers, collectors, and the merely curious. We keep 5,000+ titles on the shelves — new, used, rare & vintage — with many signed 1st editions in hardback and trade paperback, and permanent collections built around hard-to-find subjects. If a book is in print, we can order it in for you or your group.
We host poetry nights and gatherings for people who love books, share space with local artists and small businesses, and lend our back room to tabletop gamers, book clubs, and writing groups. Grab a comfy chair and relish the atmosphere of a classic old-school, owner-operated hangout.

Come have a look — what you’ll see is your brand new favorite bookstore. We’re open-minded and welcome suggestions for special events or workshops. Our second-floor expansion is almost complete, and the underground is growing organically every day.

The Back Rooms
A dedicated tabletop gaming room, book-club space, and quiet corners on Harrison Blvd — reserve them for your crew. Card games, board games, and a poker table that converts to a bumper-pool table are on hand.

Seats 4Small private nook. Circular table, sound-dampened walls. Best for intimate sessions, 1-shots, and quiet study.

We’re on Harrison Boulevard in Ogden — Suite 3 at 4850 Harrison — just minutes from Weber State University, with easy parking out front. Consistent hours Thursday through Sunday; outside those, we’re happy to make appointments for special needs.
